Meditate to the Earths Vibration
If you want to feel connected to the Earth then I can highly recommend meditating to its vibrational frequency.
The Earths fundamental natural frequency, also known as the Schumann Resonance, is approximately 7.83 Hz. Unfortunately we cannot hear this as the human ear on average has a frequency range from 20 Hz – 20,000 Hz, so if we want to meditate to the Earths frequency we need to meditate to a frequency several octaves above the Earth base frequency (7.83 Hz)
Octaves work by doubling frequencies, for example, concert pitch A, also known as A4 has a frequency of 440 Hz, and the next A in the musical scale (A5) has a frequency of 880 Hz. It is still A, only one octave higher. So using this methodology we can increase the Earths base frequency by a number of octaves until it is audible to the human ear.
Table of Earth Octaves
- Base – 7.83 Hz
- Octave 1 – 15.66 Hz
- Octave 2 – 31.32 Hz
- Octave 3 – 62.64 Hz
- Octave 4 – 125.28 Hz
- Octave 5 – 250.56 Hz
- Octave 6 – 501.12 Hz
So What Frequency is Best?
Personally, I have found that octave 4 (125.28 Hz) is a great frequency to meditate to, it vibrates through my entire body and makes me feel grounded and connected to the Earth. So how do I meditate to this frequency? Well, the most effective method I have found is to play the frequency through an app, and then hum along to it whilst imaging I am both physically and spiritually connecting to the earth.
How I Generate the Frequencies
To generate the frequencies to mediate to I use the Frequency Generator from the Google App store. In time I plan to create YouTube videos of the meditations, and when I eventually get around to it I’ll post them here.
The Meditation
- Sit or lay comfortably
- Hum along to the frequency, and imagine the sound is travelling across the Earth and into the cosmos
- Whilst humming, imagine you are both physically and spiritually connecting to the Earth
Final Thoughts
I would genuinely love to know if you tried this meditation, what did you think of it? did you enjoy it, how did it make you feel? If you would like to share your experience, please comment below.
